Sample approval

LED mirror sample approval checklist for bulk-order confidence.

Use this checklist to review a MIVEQ sample before moving a custom LED mirror, smart bathroom mirror, hotel vanity mirror, or private-label program into bulk production.

Buyer Requirements

Built around practical sourcing decisions.

Sample approval should lock the actual production baseline. Buyers should confirm product dimensions, visible finish, lighting behavior, anti-fog area, control response, magnifier placement, mounting, labels, packaging route, file revisions, and any accepted changes before placing or releasing a bulk order.

Before quotation

  • Review the sample against the latest written RFQ, drawing, and approved model code instead of against memory or photos alone.
  • Separate appearance approval from function approval because lighting, controls, anti-fog, and magnifiers may need different checks.
  • Record any sample changes in writing before bulk pricing, packaging files, or production documents are finalized.
  • Confirm whether product approval, label approval, instruction approval, and carton artwork approval are separate buyer-side steps.
  • Keep destination-market notes buyer-provided and attached to the approved sample record when they affect labels, plugs, drivers, or instructions.

FAQ

Common RFQ questions.

Use these answers to prepare a clearer mirror sourcing request before sample or production review.

What should be checked before approving an LED mirror sample?

Check dimensions, finish, glass appearance, lighting, CCT, dimming, anti-fog, controls, mounting, labels, packaging route, and any change notes against the active RFQ.

Can sample approval be split into product and packaging approval?

Yes. For retail, private-label, and hotel programs, product approval can be handled separately from label, instruction, carton, barcode, or artwork approval.

What happens if the sample needs changes?

Record the changes in writing and confirm whether the revised details require a new sample, updated quotation, or updated production document before bulk production.
